Yellow Wood is an online magazine dedicated to imagining new paths through the tangled undergrowth of the world.

Through essays, poetry, stories, photography and other media it seeks to open up discussion about the seemingly intractable environmental, social and economic problems we face, and potential solutions; to understand what it means to be human in these dark days; to provide a space for imagination and exploration and wandering thoughts.

Yellow Wood is about seeking out the path less travelled by. It is unashamedly experimental, contradictory—utopian yet despairing, romantic yet pragmatic—a wild woodland of the mind where we can play outside until long past bedtime.
